14 miles: The Camel Trail, Wadebridge to Padstow
Nothing to do with Camels but a lovely cycle ride alongside river of that name following an old railway line. The trail also runs in the opposite direction from Wadebridge to Bodmin and is equally picturesque but we always enjoy this river leg with a Padstow ice cream to energise the trip back.

Historic seat of the Tremayne Family, these beautiful gardens are particularly sweet when you discover the romantic story about their renaissance
