Colan Weddings
A Colan wedding is something to treasure, an unforgettable Cornish experience for one of the biggest days of your lives. "Completely unique", "quintessentially english" and "like a film set" are comments received from previous wedding guests.
We host very few weddings so each event is unique with some parties marrying at Colan Church and strolling down the lane for a marquee party whilst others host simple champagne receptions in the gardens.
These pictures provide an illustration of the beautiful setting available to your wedding party. Wedding parties take over the entire property including accommodation, grounds and leisure facilities and we do all we can to cater for requests. We do not provide any other facilities so catering & marquees have to be arranged separately - though we're happy to recommend and work with local companies. We even help the day after - providing a chilled out BBQ lunch around the pool for recuperating guests.
Please note that summer weddings are only possible alongside a full weekly rental of Colan Barton. Many wedding groups take advantage of this by using the properties as a base for family & friends - makes it very convenient!!
We can accommodate 19+ and with Newquay and its airport are 3 miles away, providing great flexibility for guests from the UK and further afield.
